How to Place an Ad to sell your Boat

Step 1. If you are making a standard listing you will be taken directly to Step 2.  However if you are making a featured listing you will be taken to the payment page. All payments are made through PayPal which is an secure on-line payment service that accepts all major credit cards. If you have not used PayPal before it will only take a couple of minutes to enter your card details to enable payment to be made.

Step 2. Select your Photos. You will be requested to select the photos you want to use on your web page.  You may include up to three (3) photos in your ad.

The first photo you select will be the main photo on your Boat listing site. For best results your main photo should be rectangular in shape with the longer edge at the top and bottom of the photo. Photos are to be in .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif format and no larger than 100KB.  To assist in the successful uploading of your pictures, reduce the width of your photos to 400 pixels if you know how to.  If you do this it is suggested that you save them under a different file name to your original photos.

You do not have to include photos with your listing, however it will definitely help you sell your Boat.

After selecting your photos click on "Upload Your Photos!".

Step 3. Photo confirmation page. This will tell you how many photos have been successfully uploaded for your listing. Just click on "Continue" to move to the final stage.

If in the unlikely event that any of your photos have not been successfully uploaded or you receive an error message, continue with your listing if possible then e-mail us explaining the problem and include the missing photos as attachments to ray@boat-mart.com

Step 4. This is where you enter the details about your Boat and contact information. If you are not too sure what information is required click on any listing on this web site for an example.

You will also be requested to supply an e-mail address and a password. This will enable you to log into your listing at any time using this e-mail address and password to change any details in your ad. So if you are not too sure of all the details about your boat, you can still list your boat now and go back at a later date and change the information.

For even more exposure feature list your Boat for only $5. As well as being included in the normal listings your ad will also appear on the featured ads page, on the featured ads section of our home page, and most likely will also be selected as a "Featured Boat of the day" which also appears on our home page.
